“If you’re wearing read lips, go for an almost nude eye and vice versa. You don’t want to be that girl who has heavy eye makeup on!”

“I love any eye shadow in bright colors. My beauty tip would be to wet down the brush before you put the eye shadow on because it makes the color way more vibrant.”

To create comehither cat's eyes like Taylor's, select a mauve tone for the lid, and rim the top and bottom lashes with navy blue pencil eye liner. Add dimension with a deeper shade of plum shadow applied in the crease. Blend well with a contouring eye shadow brush.

Using an eyeliner pencil, outline the lashline and extend the line upward and outward a few millimeters beyond the outer corner of each eye. Follow with another layer of eye liner, this time in a powder formula.

Wet a flathead eyeliner brush and dip it into a velvety navy blue eye shadow. Apply it to your lashline using pressing, not painting, motions to really pack on the color. Smudge with a Q-Tip or your finger to smoke it out. Add a touch of the shimmery, snow-white shadow to the center of the lid and outer corners of the eye to finish the look.

  • “If you have really light eyes like I do, a variety of eyeliners are a must! Just using a simple liner pencil is a quick and easy way to highlight your eyes, and you can play around with crazy colors for a fun look. I like black mascara (her favorite is Chanel Inimitable) because it makes my eyes look more dramatic … just make sure it’s waterproof.” — Seventeen
